Nationally-syndicated radio host Willie Moore Jr. hosted an intimate screening and Q&A session for Focus Features’ latest film Harriet.
The screening took place at Regal Atlantic Station in Atlanta, where Moore invited his closest friends – including Da Brat, Monica Brown (VP of Pandora), Shari Welton (Producer of Sister Circle), Rick Party, and Carmen Watkins among others.
Prior to the screening, a Q&A session with the director of the film, Kasi Lemmons, and one of the film’s stars, Omar Dorsey, was held and moderated by Willie.
About The Film:
Harriet tells the true story of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and ensuing freeing of over 300 slaves, with the guidance of GOD and her heroic faith-fueled expedition – earning her the iconic nickname of “Moses”.
