Shawn Wayans & Ice Cube Speak At John Witherspoon's Funeral


John Witherspoon‘s funeral service was held on Tuesday in Los Angeles and the entertainment industry showed up strong to celebrate the life of the legendary comedian and actor.

The service was officiated by Pastor Marvin Winans and there were a number of speakers including Cedric The Entertainer, David Letterman, Angela Gibbs, Bill Bellamy, George Wallace, Ice Cube, and Shawn Wayans.

Shawn recalled the first time he saw “Pops” in Hollywood Shuffle and “fell in love” with his talent and knew he had to “meet him one day.”

He went on to talk about working with John Witherspoon on “The Wayans Bros.”
