President Barack Obama Delivers A Powerful Commencement Address At Howard University
On Saturday (May 6), President Barack Obama delivered a powerful commencement address to Howard University’s 2016 graduating class that I’m sure will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
President Obama’s address is the first of three he will deliver before the end of his presidency.
From the importance of voting to being confident in your heritage, our POTUS dropped major keys during his 45 minute address.
Now it’s your turn. And the good news is, you’re ready. And when your journey seems too hard, and when you run into a chorus of cynics who tell you that you’re being foolish to keep believing or that you can’t do something, or that you should just give up, or you should just settle—you might say to yourself a little phrase that I’ve found handy these last eight years: Yes, we can.
