Beyoncé Kicks Off Her Formation World Tour In Miami
Okay, ladies now let’s get in formation….
Beyoncé kicked off her Formation World Tour on Wednesday night in front of over 36,000 fans at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida.
DJ Khaled warmed up the crowd with a star-studded 30-set with special guests Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, Trick Daddy, Lil Wayne, Kent Jones and Future.
Then, Beyoncé took the stage.
Bey kicked off her two-hour show with her powerful new anthem, “Formation,” and followed with performances of 29 more songs including her classic hits and newly released music from her Lemonade visual album.
In typical Beyoncé fashion, the superstar flawlessly slayed six costume changes.
She even offered “Boycott Beyoncé” merchandise for her fans. Ha!
At one point during the show, Bey told her sea of fans, “We were driving to rehearsal today and Blue Ivy said, ‘Mommy, are we going to your work?’ and it reminded me that I dreamed of this day my whole life. You’re witnessing my dream come true right now.”
Beyoncé closed the show with a performance of “Halo” dedicated to God, her family, Prince, and her “beautiful husband,” JAY Z.
