During her appearance on Van Lathan‘s “The Red Pill” podcast, Sebastian’s mommy revealed she tried to sell crack back in the day while growing up in Philly.

But, her kingpin efforts were quickly shut down by the OGs who wouldn’t allow her to get into the dope game because she would get robbed and because she’s too pretty.

I usually don’t tell people this but I tried selling drugs. I tried selling crack in my neighborhood.

They said I was gonna get robbed, I was a girl and I was too pretty, and it wasn’t going to happen.

I don’t really think people understand how ‘hood I grew up.

The s–t that I had to overcome, and even overcome after I became famous. My life has never been easy. [But] it did push me to that limit to go feed for my family.

While many will hit a hard eye-roll at this – Amber also made a valid point that many popular rappers glorify their past lives as drug dealers.
