Warner Bros. has pushed back the release of Christopher Nolan‘s highly anticipated film, Tenet, and I’m crying thug tears.

The film, starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson, was slated to open in theaters on July 17, but the release has been delayed until July 31.

Warner Bros. will release their classic mind-bending film, Inception, instead to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the film.

Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group stated:

We’re especially thrilled, in this complex and rapidly changing environment, to be bringing Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet,’ a global tentpole of jaw-dropping size, scope and scale, to theaters around the world on July 31. It’s been longer than any of us could’ve imagined since we’ve seen a movie on the big screen, and to acknowledge Chris’ fans as we count down to ‘Tenet’’s opening day, we are also excited to offer his masterpiece ‘Inception’ in theaters for its 10th anniversary on July 17.

I guess this will give me more time to get my Hazmat suit ready to go to the theater.

Do you plan to check out Tenet when it opens in theaters.
