Danica Roem Makes History

Danica Roem made history on Tuesday by becoming the first trangender lawmaker in the United States.

The 26-year-old defeated anti-LGBT and anti-abortion Republican candidate, Bob Marshall, in Virginia’s 13 District by 7 points. Bloop!

Danica shared this photo on Election Day with the caption, “Smile we might make history today!”

She sure did! Congrats.
