Khloe Kardashian visited the “Ellen Show” to promote her new book, “Strong Looks Better Naked.” (Please keep in mind all of her press runs and appearances were scheduled prior to Lamar Odom‘s unfortunate crisis.)
In the interview, slated to air on Monday (November 16), Khloe pretty much confirmed Lamar has suffered severe brain damage as a result of his drug overdose at a Nevada brothel in October.
When Ellen DeGeneres inquired about the status of Lamar’s health, Khloe was very open and honest saying:
He is off of all machines that help his organs. But, still he has such a long way to go.
He’s learning how to walk again and feed himself again…and put sentences together. Cognitively there’s a lot…it’s a long, long, long road ahead.
He couldn’t put a lot of words together today. But, he understands.
When Ellen asked if Lamar knows what happened to him, Khloe responded, “I can’t tell him…we tell him he had a brain injury. I can’t tell him how that injury was caused because it will set him back.”
Khloe also told Ellen Lamar hasn’t asked how or why he’s in the hospital. “He’s really confused a lot. We have to remind him. Every thing is different. We have to remind him who the president is…his birthday. Then, other times he thinks he’s 26,” Khloe shared.
The convo got a bit awkward when Khloe Kardashian confirmed she’s still with James Harden and joked about being a polygamist saying, “I’m just going to say I’m a part of polygamy now. I have a husband. I have a boyfriend. That’s a way easier thing to say. Right?”
Ellen responded saying, “Okay, if that’s what you want me to call you I will – no, but I think that’s many husbands, isn’t it? So you’re not really a polygamist.”
