11 years after releasing his debut album, The College Dropout, Kanye West received an honorary doctorate of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago.
Visibly nervous, Kanye began his remarks by discussing opinions and apologies.
There were awkward pauses as Ye continued and tried to lighten to moment by referencing his infamous opinion of George Bush.
Kanye West eventually began to settle in as he ran down a list of moments and accomplishments that validated what he’s been saying his entire life. (That he’s a genius/visionary for those who may be wondering.)
