Janet Hubert Blasts Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Over Their Oscars Boycott
Hours after Jada Pinkett Smith released a heartfelt video encouraging a boycott of the Oscars because of their refusal to acknowledge talented actors and actresses of color, former “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star, Janet Hubert blasted Will Smith and Jada for being hypocrites.
In a video post, on her Facebook page, Janet, who has been vocal about her disdain for Will in the past, didn’t bite her tongue as she accused the Smiths of biting the hand that has fed them millions because they’re mad Will didn’t get a nod.
I want to say something about Jada Pinkett Smith asking other actors…black actors and actresses to boycott the Oscars.
Ahhh, first of all Miss Thing…does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak? And the second thing is… girlfriend, there is a lot of sh*t going on in the world that you all don’t seem to recognize. People are dying, our boys are being shot left and right, people are hungry, people are starving, people are trying to pay bills and you talkin bout some muthaf**kin actors and Oscars.

I find it ironic that someone who has made their living and made millions and millions of dollars from the very people you are talking about boycotting…just because you didn’t get a nomination?! Just because you didn’t win?! That is not the way life works, baby!
