Future stopped by “The Breakfast Club” last week to promote his new mixtape, “DS2.”
As expected, they questioned the rapper about his break-up with Ciara as well as his shady remarks about praying with the “Body Party” singer after they had sex.
Future attempted to keep it cute by wishing the mother of his child well (with a bit of shade):
I’m back. I ain’t thinking about her, man. I swear, I’m not thinking about her.
I want her to be totally happy. You gotta understand you want a person to be happy…like you have an ex-girlfriend and you want her to be happy, but you still going to be bitter because she moved on. I’m not bitter because she moved on. I’m good. I take care of me. I don’t need him. She needs him [Russell].
But, there was one thing it appears he really needed to get off of his chest and that was the fact that Ciara has Russell Wilson around his son. A photo of Russ pushing Baby Future didn’t sit well with the rapper.
Future told Charlamagne, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy:
Of course, I wouldn’t want someone pushing my son, like that’s the number one rule.
If I was a kid…and my mama had a dude pushing me…I would jump out of the stroller and slap the sh*t out of him.
You never do that in our community! You don’t even bring a man around your son…you don’t even know this dude…for a few months and you bring him around your kid?
Who does that?!
He [Russell] probably didn’t know. She set him up!
