De La Soul has released the official music video for “Memory Of…(US)” from their latest release, and the Anonymous Nobody.
The visual opens with Pete Rock giving “Masterpiece Theater” realness as he describes the backstory of the visual.
It’s the story of a bride-to-be, played by Estelle, who has a moment of reflection prior to delivering her vows.
It’s a story that blurs the lines between memory and reality, regret and redemption, Plug 1 and Plug 2.
