Vanessa Bryant is truly dealing with a lot. She’s grieving the loss of her husband and daughter, her mother is airing their family’s dirty laundry, and she’s taking legal action against the LAPD.

Vanessa’s mother, Sofia Laine, recently did an exclusive interview on Univision where tearfully aired out her daughter for allegedly forcing her out of her home and taking her car.

Watch the teaser below.

According to Sofia, Kobe Bryant took care of her her and after his untimely passing, Vanessa has left her in the cold with a thin sweater.

Vanessa Bryant has released a statement saying her madre has got a lot of nerve to be doing interviews and slinging mud at her when they have taken care of her for over 20 years.

She added that she will continue to take care of her mother financially despite the fact that she has not been there for them physically or emotionally since the tragic loss of Kobe and Gigi.

Read the full statement below:

My husband and daughter passed away unexpectedly and yet my mom has the audacity to do an interview on TV talking negatively about me while shedding tears about a car and home that wasn’t in her name.

She has removed all her diamond jewelry, emptied her apartment that I provide, and put the furniture in storage to appear as though she is without support. My husband and I have financially supported her over the past 20 years, and I continue to do so, in addition to her monthly alimony.

In addition to her family drama, Vanessa has filed a lawsuit against the L.A. County Sheriff and his department for causing her family severe emotional distress.

You may recall deputies allegedly took personal cellphone photos of the bodies of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant from the helicopter crash site.

A portion of the suit reads:

No fewer than 8 sheriff’s deputies at the crash site, pulled out their personal cell phones and snapped photos of the dead children, parents, and coaches. The deputies took these photos for their own personal gratification.

Vanessa Bryant also accuses Sheriff Villanueva of trying to cover up the egregious act of his deputies by telling them if they deleted the photos they would not face discipline – which is destruction of evidence.

The suit alleges Villanueva never informed the families about the photos and they found out about it when the story broke online.

Ms. Bryant feels ill at the thought of strangers gawking at images of her deceased husband and child, and she lives in fear that she or her children will one day confront horrific images of their loved ones online.

Vanessa Bryant is seeking an unspecified amount of damages including punitive damages.

Please keep Vanessa and her family uplifted in prayer.
