Tyler Perry Offers To Pay For Twins’ Funeral

Tyler Perry truly has a heart of gold.

The media mogul has offered to pay the funeral expenses of the 15-month-old twin girls who died last week after they were left in a hot car.

Police say Ariel and Alaynah’s father, Asa North, was drunk when he left his baby girls inside of car in their apartment complex.

Officers were called the to the Caroll County apartments on Tillman Road around 6:30 p.m. after neighbors spotted the babies and were trying to cool them off with ice packs.

The twins’ mother, Breal Ellis, was having trouble paying for the funeral expenses so she started a GoFundMe campaign.

When Tyler Perry saw Ellis pleas for help, he contacted Channel 2’s Dave Huddleston and offered to cover the expenses.

Not only is Breal completely devastated, she also feels guilty.

“I was with them every day and the one day I left…I just want to tell them I’m sorry,” she said through tears. “They didn’t deserve to die like that or to die, period, but I know they’re in heaven.”

My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with Breal and her family during this difficult time.

Asa North has been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.
