Her swift response to Roseanne Barr‘s racist tweets about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett and her decision to cancel “Roseanne,” has folks celebrating her in the streets of Twitter.

#ChanningDungey shows us just how important it is to get more diverse voices to the top of the food chain. Women and POC need to be more than just the people advising the decision makers, they need to be the decision makers.
Thank you @ABCNetwork for doing the right thing.

Right decision, regardless of ratings. #ChanningDungey is an experienced television executive and one of the first, if not the first African American entertainment president – she knows how these racist comments hurt. https://t.co/u4Ig9vgxIa

When the head of a network cancels a HIT show for reasons far more important than commerce. Congratulations @ABCNetwork – amazing move to show other networks that it's not all about money. New Ruler, New Rules. #ChanningDungey QUEEN. https://t.co/Brv10vBsnB

Very proud of @abc and #ChanningDungey for taking a strong, clear stance against bigotry. I had a feeling the truth [email protected] would come through sooner or later. Count on Trump to say either nothing or something stupid.@RealMerrinD your sister rocks. #seriouscomedy
