It looks like VH1 has finally thrown in the towel on their controversial reality series, “Sorority Sisters.”
After receiving an overwhelming amount of backlash and criticism, advertisers pulling out, and cast members being suspended by their organizations, the network has decided to cash out by dumping the remaining four episodes in a mini-marathon on Friday night.
Starting at 8pm, VH1 will re-air the cast member’s dialogue special, where the ladies respond to all of the criticism they’ve received for doing the show. Then, the mini-marathon will begin to bring the season to a close.
April McRae, who was suspended from her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority until July of 2016, says “Sorority Sisters” was a “rocky road, but a lifetime experience.”
VH1 has yet to release an official statment saying the show is cancelled, but here’s their “Sorority Sisters” schedule if you’re interested in check it out.
