TV SCOOP: Trevor Noah To Replace Jon Stewart As New Host Of ‘The Daily Show’

YES, YES, and more YES!

It’s official! Trevor Noah will replace Jon Stewart as the new host of “The Daily Show.”

Trevor is a 31-year-old South African comedian and he’s absolutely brilliant. Comedy Central couldn’t have made a better choice.

The New York Times broke the news on Monday morning and rather than celebrate himself, Trevor Noah took to his Twitter account to pay homage to Jon.

Jon Stewart is happy about the choice of his successor.

In a statement, he said, “I’m thrilled for the show and for Trevor. He’s a tremendous comic and talent that we’ve loved working with.” Mr. Stewart added that he “may rejoin as a correspondent just to be a part of it!!!”

If you’re unfamiliar with Trevor Noah, check out the video below and you’ll understand why I love him so much!

Congrats Trevor! Go forth and slay!
