Nicki Minaj‘s scripted comedy series based on her life growing up in Queens, New York has received a commitment from ABC Family. Think the Hip Hop version of “Everybody Hates Chris.”
The chart-topping raptress, born Onika Tanya Maraj, will executive produce and appear in the series.
