Michel'le documentary - Think Factory Media

Michel’le is finally going to have the opportunity to tell her story.

The singer and “R&B Divas LA” star has partnered with Thinkfactory Media to create a scripted television biopic tentatively titled, Girl From the Hood, and a documentary about her life.

Via Deadline:

The projects will detail her journey from the streets of Compton, including her experience with Death Row Records and her relationships with founders Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, described as “one of fame, abuse and ultimately, survival and triumph”.

Michel’le shares a son, Marcel Young, with Dr. Dre, and a daughter, Bailei Knight, with Suge.

The “It’s Nothing” singer has been very vocal about the abuse she suffered at the hands of both men.

After the release of the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, Dr. Dre issued a public apology to the women he’s hurt in the past.

Unfortunately, Michel’le didn’t feel it was sincere.

There is no word yet on when we can expect to see Michel’le’s story on the small screen, but I’m sure it’s going to be veeeery interesting.
