Memphitz and Toya Wright to appear on “Untying the Knot.”
Mickey “Memphitz” Wright and Toya Wright are coming together to split for good with the help of divorce attorney and mediator Vikki Ziegler on Bravo’s “Untying the Knot.”
After four years of marriage, the couple went through a very public and oftentimes embarrassing split that played out in the streets of social media and on blogs.
There was a laundry list of issues that caused the demise of the Wright’s union…including Toya’s refusal to appear on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” But, they’re now in agreement about appearing together on a reality series about divorce. The irony.
In February, Memphitz told Sister 2 Sister magazine, “I love my wife. Don’t get me wrong. Nothing has changed as far as the love. There’s no love deficiency…It’s just the fact that I’m staring to love myself a little bit more.”
Toya initially vowed to fight for her marriage, but eventually threw in the towel and opted to profit off of her failed union by writing a book titled, “How to Lose a Husband.”

This November, we’ll watch as the estranged spouses get assistance from experts to help them “divorce with dignity.”
