HBO has released the first photo of Kerry Washington starring as Anita Hill in their forthcoming film, “Confirmation.”

Am I the only one who thought this was a snapshot from “Scandal?”

Here’s the scoop on “Confirmation” via Deadline:

The film details the explosive 1991 confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas (Wendell Pierce) that were rocked by testimony by Oklahoma law professor Anita Hill , which brought the country to a standstill and forever changed the way we think about sexual harassment, victims’ rights and modern race relations.

Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Hudson, Eric Stonestreet, Jeffrey Wright and Alison Wright will round out the cast.
