Funkmaster Flex has joined the ever-growing list of guest stars on season 2 of “Empire.”

The popular Hot 97 jock has booked a guest starring role to play himself on the hit FOX series.
Flex is slated to appear on episode 8 of “Empire,” where he will act as the emcee for a rap battle between Hakeem Lyon (Yazz The Greatest) and newcomer Freda Gatz (Bre-Z).
“Empire” season 2 premieres on September 23 at 9/8c on FOX.
