Over the summer, parents banned together to urge Disney Junior to renew “Doc McStuffins” after learning the fate of the show was in jeopardy.
It worked! The network has greenlit season 5 for the cartoon about Dottie “Doc” McStuffins, a nurturing 6-year-old African-American girl who cares for stuffed animals and toys in her playhouse clinic.
But, there’s a catch. The new season won’t air until 2018.
I wonder if Kiara Muhammad‘s lawsuit has anything to do with the long delay.
Well…in the meantime, tell the kiddos Doc McStuffins is renovating her office and will be back after a while.
