Troy Ave Arrested & Charged With Attempted Murder

Rapper Troy Ave has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in connection to Wednesday night’s deadly shooting at Irving Plaza that left one man dead and three others injured including Troy Ave.

The New York Police Department released video which shows the rapper stumbling into a room and firing a handgun at least once.

Police say the 30-year-old rapper, born Ronald Collins, shot himself in the leg and they also believe he may have shot and killed his bodyguard and longtime friend, Ronald McPhatter, during the chaos. They are awaiting ballistics tests to confirm.

T.I., who was slated to headline the concert before the gunfire erupted released the following statement:



Maino also took to social media to slam the false reports stating a beef between he and Troy Ave sparked the deadly shooting.
