Trey Songz Is Now Claiming Self-Defense In Alleged Domestic Assault Lawsuit

Trey Songz is now claiming he was acting in self-defense and he wants a judge to throw out the lawsuit against him for domestic assault.

Andrea Buera accused the R&B singer of allegedly punching and choking her at a party during NBA All-Star Weekend because he got upset when he saw her talking to another man.

The LA District Attorney declined to file criminal charges against Trey, so Buera filed a civil suit.

The new father filed court documents claiming he isn’t responsible for any injuries Andrea suffered because he “reasonably believed Plaintiff was going to harm him and any force he used was only the amount reasonable necessary to protect himself.”
