Former New York Giants wide receiver Travis Rudolph was arrested Wednesday morning and booked on first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges.

Reportedly, Rudolph opened fire on a vehicle containing four people in West Palm Beach, Florida around midnight Wednesday.

When police arrived, they found one man deceased and they received word of another man rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

A motive for the shooting is unknown, but after preliminary investigation officials believe they have evidence that proves Rudolph is the shooter.

Rudolph was a star receiver at Florida State University from 2014 to 2016, he led the team in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns in 2015.

In 2016, during a visit at a Tallahassee middle school, Rudolph went viral for sitting down to eat lunch with Bo Paske, an autistic student who didn’t have many friends.
