King Kong ain’t got nuthin on me!!!
A Training Day prequel is in the works at Warner Bros. according to an exclusive report from Jeff Snider at Collider.
According to the report, the prequel will be set in April of 1992, just two days before the Rodney King verdict.
It will follow the story of a younger version of Alonzo Harris, the iconic character played by Denzel Washington.
You may recall, his performance in the 2001 crime drama, directed by Antoine Fuqua, earned Denzel an Oscar.
How dope would it be it the studio cast Denzel’s son, John David Washington, to portray the younger version Alonzo Harris?
I have to ask – do we really need or want a Training Day prequel?
