Toni Braxton‘s “Unbreak My Heart” biopic was a huge ratings winner for Lifetime.
The 2-hour movie based on the award-winning singer’s bestselling memoir, scooped 3.6 million viewers making it ad-supported cable’s top-rated movie in key demos since the January 2015 premiere of Lifetime original “Whitney.”
Here’s the scoop via Variety:
The film, starring newcomer Lex Scott Davis and based on Braxton’s bestselling memoir, averaged 1.8 million adults 25-54, 1.7 million adults 18-49, 1.4 million women 25-54 and 1.3 million women 18-49 in its 8 PM time period. It now stands as ad-supported cable’s top-rated movie in key demos since the January 2015 premiere of Lifetime original Whitney. It also was the most tweeted-about program on television Saturday, with an 18% share of all Twitter TV activity, and has become the most tweeted movie for the television season to date, according to Nielsen.
