Radio legend Tom Joyner has vowed to stop playing R. Kelly‘s music during his popular and syndicated morning show.

The decision came after Tarana Burke, the founder of the #MeToo movement was a guest on “Inside Her Story,” Jacque Reid‘s segment on Tom’s show.

Tarana explained how listening to R. Kelly’s music does very little to support victims of sexual abuse.

There is a lot of work happening but we need help.

We need ‘The Tom Joyner Morning Show’ to stop supporting R. Kelly.

That’s one of the things that would help.

Tom Joyner immediately complied saying:

Okay, you got it. I’ll do that right now.

I won’t play anymore R. Kelly music.

The decision comes on the heels of the latest allegations against the R&B star where he’s accused of giving a 19-year-old woman drugs, alcohol and an STD.
