Tika Sumpter continues to spread her Black Girl Magic as the actress will co-executive produce and star in CBS’ forthcoming drama, “The 313.”
In “The 313,” which is Detroit’s area code, Tika plays a 29-year-old female City Council President, who suddenly becomes the Mayor of Detroit after a sex scandal brings down the current administration.
The actress is expecting to welcome her first child this month.
