Tiger Woods Denies Being Drunk
After his arrest over the holiday weekend for suspicion of driving under the influence, Tiger Woods has released a statement denying he was drunk.
The pro golfer cited a mixture of medication for his 3 a.m. arrest on Memorial Day.
In a statement to USA Today, Tiger wrote:
I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions. I want the public to know alcohol was not involved.
What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.
I would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans. I expect more of myself too.
I’mma let Tiger finish…but I still have questions:
- Who takes meds, then leaves the house at 3 in the morning?
- Where was he going?
- Police claim they smelled alcohol on his breath. Were the meds Hennessy flavored?
Either way, Tiger Woods gots to be more careful.
