Tia Mowry joins “Rosewood.”
Actress and reality TV star Tia Mowry-Hardrict has landed a major role on Fox’s new crime drama, “Rosewood,” which just received a full season order.
Here’s the scoop via Deadline:
On the crime procedural starring Morris Chestnut as a private Miami pathologist, Mowry will play Cassie, a previously homeless teenage lesbian who has worked her way up to owning her own restaurant through drive and hard work. She is also Pippy’s (Gabrielle Dennis) childhood friend from a troubling and mysterious time in her past.
Tia took to social media to share her excitement about her new role writing, “Whoooo hoooooo! So damn excited!! #rosewood #fox Let’s go!”
Taye Diggs will begin his multi-episode arch on Wednesday, November 25, where he will play the role of “Dr. Mike Boyce,” a world-renowned infectious disease doctor based in Miami and the longtime best friend of Dr. Beaumont Rosewood.
