“The Situation” will be situated in a jail cell for the next 8 months.
“Jersey Shore” star Mike Sorrentino has been sentenced to eight months in jail for tax evasion.
The reality TV star tried his best to convince Judge Susan Wigenton to reconsider jail time and give him a second chance.
In court, “The Situation” pleaded:
I’m deeply sorry for my past actions. Today I’m the man that I should’ve been years ago.
I’ve worked tirelessly to overcome my demons and put my life back together.
Unfortunately, sis wasn’t buying it.
In addition to jail time, Mike was sentenced to two years of supervised release with drug testing and treatment.
He will also have to complete 500 hours of community service and pay a $10,000 fine.
Mike Sorrentino has already paid $123,913 in restitution.
