While many other things about Bernice Burgos‘ interview on “The Breakfast Club” made headlines…the model is most proud of telling her story of being in an abusive relationship.
In a post on her IG page, Bernice wrote, “The most amazing part about my interview was that I finally had the strength and courage to tell my story.”
She says it was something that she’s been afraid to talk about – even to her family. But, she hopes sharing her story will inspire others who may be going through a similar situation.

The most amazing part about my interview was that I finally had the strength and courage to tell my story …. A REAL story that I was always afraid to talk about , even to my family . It’s a part of my life I NEVER wanted to relive . Abuse is real for both men and women . Yours may not be physical but emotional abuse is just as bad . We never know what someone may be going through and being able to share my story and express what has happened in my life is a blessing and hopefully an inspiration to those who may be going through what I went through. “Don’t be ashamed of your story it will inspire others” … – BB ?
