WWE star Roman Reigns was filled with emotion and gratitude when he announced he is in remission after battling leukemia on Monday night.
Roman, real name Leati Joseph “Joe” Anoaʻi, announced his diagnosis in October and says he was nervous about sharing the personal information with his WWE fans because he didn’t know how they would react.
He went on to say how he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support.
When I made my announcement, I said I was going to swing for the fences. We did better than that y’all.
We didn’t swing for the fences, we hit a home run. … I’m so honored to announce this. I’m in remission.
So with that being said, the Big Dog is back!
