Burglar Shot During Hurricane Harvey
A Texas man caught a bullet to the head when he tried to break into a Corpus Christi home during Hurricane Harvey.

A homeowner in Corpus Christi shot a man trying to break into his home as Hurricane Harvey made landfall Friday night, police said.
Cops were called to the home in the Texas city’s southeast section around 11 p.m. local time as the then-Category 4 hurricane kicked up brutal winds.
They found the would-be invader shot in the head when they arrived, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times reports.
The man was awake and coherent when medics transported him to Christus Spohn Hospital – Shoreline, police later said in a tweet.
The man’s identity wasn’t immediately available, and it is unknown if he has been charged.
Welp. I just thankful that the impact of the storm was as bad as expected.
