J. Prince said it best…”If you keep campaigning – sooner or later you’re going to get elected.”
Tekashi69 was hospitalized early Sunday morning after he was kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed in New York.
The rapper had just wrapped up shooting a music video in Brooklyn around 4 a.m. and drove home. When he arrived, another car blocked his driveway.
That’s when three hooded gunmen pistol-whipped Tekashi, knocking him unconscious. When he came to, he was in the back seat of a car and the gunmen were driving him around making demands for cash and jewelry and threatening to kill him if they didn’t get it.
They eventually went back to Tekashi69’s home where his baby’s mother and daughter were. Two men went inside and the third guarded him inside of the vehicle.
The gunmen stole $750k in jewelry and between $15k and $20k in cash. Thank God his family wasn’t hurt.
They drove off again with Tekashi still in the backseat. At one point, he kicked open the back door and jumped out of the car. One of the gunmen momentarily gave chase but retreated.
Tekashi jumped into the passenger’s seat of a stranger’s car and pleaded for help.
The driver called 911 and asked the rapper to get out of the car.
An ambulance picked him up and transported him to the hospital where he remains under observation.
Thank God he’s still alive.
Hopefully, this will be a huge wake up call for the young man.
