Tasha Smith Opens Up About Stripping
The thing I love most about my fellow Jersey girl, Tasha Smith, is how real she is.
While promoting her directorial debut, “When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story,” on “The Breakfast Club,” Tasha opened up about her days as a stripper and how she got out of the business before it consumed her.
There are some women who could probably handle that lifestyle and not get caught up.
You look at Amber Rose, you look at Blac Chyna…they did pretty well for themselves, right?
Every woman I feel can’t go in that world and really mentally handle it. Hey, I used to be a stripper, okay?! So, I understand.
I was just surviving, but I got out of the club!
I know my path could’ve been different. Like I ended up here.
Falicia Blakely ended up serving life in jail!

“When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story” tells the tragic true story of Falicia Blakely, a teen mom from Atlanta who grows up in the fast-lane.
When she becomes an exotic dancer, she attracts the attention of local pimp and predator, Dino.
His empty promises of a life together turn Falicia into a pawn in his dangerous games, and she’s forced to prove her love for him at the expense of innocent lives.
