Taraji P. Henson did such a great job hosting Fox’s holiday special last year that they’ve decided to bring her back again.
The hourlong music and variety special, dubbed “Taraji’s White Hot Holidays,” will air on December 8 at 8pm on Fox.
Here’s the scoop via Deadline:
Henson will be joined on the hourlong special by her Empire co-star Jussie Smollett, along with Taye Diggs, Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Run-DMC’s Darryl McDaniels, Snoop Dogg and TLC Tyler Perry and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Terry Crews will make cameo appearances. Fox notes there will be other surprise appearances and performances.

Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg have been tapped as hosts of Pitbull‘s annual “New Year’s Revolution.”

The special will air live Saturday, December 31 at 11 PM from Miami’s Bayfront Park. Performers will be announced later.
Last year the show featured Puff Daddy and the Family, Empire stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, artists Shawn Mendes, Pia Mia, Camila Cabello among others.
