On Thursday night, Ice Cream Convos had the pleasure of attending a private press dinner at the W Atlanta – Midtown with Brooklyn Sudano and Gaius Charles, the stars of NBC’s forthcoming drama, “Taken.”
“Taken,” which premieres on Monday, February 27 at 10/9c, is a modern-day, edge-of-your-seat thriller follows the origin story of younger, hungrier, former Green Beret Bryan Mills (Clive Standen, “Vikings“) as he deals with a personal tragedy that shakes his world.
As he fights to overcome the incident and exact revenge, Mills is pulled into a career as a deadly CIA operative, a job that awakens his very particular, and very dangerous, set of skills.
Brooklyn plays the role of Asha, the roommate of Bryan’s sister. She’s a strong and driven young lawyer, who turns to Bryan for support and comfort after a tragedy upends their lives.
Gaius plays John, a reformed gang member who is now part of the special opps team. He’s a natural-born leader, methodical, and ferociously loyal.
I had the opportunity to view the first four episodes of “Taken” and I was immediately drawn in. It’s really a great show!
