Tahiry Jose sues security guard who assaulted her at a Fashion Week event.
Former “Love & Hip Hop” star Tahiry Jose has filed a lawsuit against Charles Suggs (also known as Carlos Fiasco), a security guard who brutally attacked her outside of New York Fashion Week event last September.

In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, the ample-bottomed “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star says she was “suddenly and without cause and provocation verbally and physically, brutally and savagely attacked” by a man named Charles Suggs at the Angola International Fashion Show in Chelsea last September – and now she wants her attacker and the venue that employed him to pay.
Jose’s lawyer, Samuel Davis, said Suggs was working the door at the W. 26th Street event, and “was being extraordinarily nasty to two of Tahiry’s staff members.”
“She confronted him about that, and he snapped,” Davis said.
He began “beating her up, hurling obscenities at her, dragging her by her hair” and “continuously belittling and disrespecting” while he wailed on her, the suit says.
Davis said it took “six or seven people” to pull Suggs off her – and he tried attacking her again inside the venue.
Suggs later pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to attend anger management and ordered to stay away from Tahiry for five years.
According to Tahiry Jose’s lawsuit, she had “injuries to her spine, herniated discs, damage to her jaw, and she was pretty badly banged up.”
The reality star, who has landed her own show, opened up about how the attack has changed her quality of life in an Instagram post.
