T.I. took to social media and blasted TMZ and all other media outlets for reporting the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s report on Precious Harris’ cause of death.
The rapper and actor called for a boycott on the popular and controversial media giant and noted that Harvey Levin and TMZ have forever burned a bridge with him, his family and all of his affiliates.
Understandably, T.I. is upset about the report and wants to protect the legacy of his loved one, but it is not uncommon for the cause of death to be released for high profile people.
TMZ didn’t want any smoke with T.I. and they have removed the story and issued an apology with a tribute post to Precious.
The statement reads in part:
Earlier Thursday, we posted a story about T.I.‘s sister, Precious Harris Chapman, and reported the Medical Examiner’s official findings on her cause of death … we were wrong to do it.
