T.I. was arrested early Wednesday morning while trying to get into his gated community.
According to TMZ, the rapper forgot his keycard and lost his cool with the security guard at the gate, who wouldn’t grant him entrance to his own neighborhood.
According to local reports, the rapper was trying to get to his house Wednesday morning — around 4 AM — but didn’t have his key. T.I. and a friend argued with the guard at the security shack, who wouldn’t let them enter … and it got heated enough that cops showed up.
Henry County PD arrested Tip for simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
T.I. has already been released…without bail.
Judging from the look on his face in the mugshot above…he knows this arrest was some BS.
This morning he took to Instagram and briefly addressed the arrest calling it an “inconvenience.”
