T-Boz’s Cousin Eddie Russell Jr. Fatally Shot By Police
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins is heartbroken and seeking justice after her cousin, Eddie Russell, Jr. was shot 18 times by Illinois police after he was accused of robbing a bank.
The TLC singer tweeted, “My ❤️Is Broken! U Think The Tragedies That Happen Across The World Wouldn’t Happen2 U At Least U Hope They Won’t! But To Us It Did”
She went on to share how Eddie was accused of robbing a bank at gunpoint, but surveillance video shows him holding something, but it doesn’t look like a gun.
T-Boz also said her cousin suffered from mental illness and police didn’t handle the situation correctly when they went to his home to apprehend him.
To add insult to injury, she says the media is painting him out to be someone he was not.
