Swizz Beatz has taken to social media to address the hate and criticism Alicia Keys has received over her makeup-free look at the 2016 MTV VMAs.
Apparently, her choice to embrace her natural beauty has ruffled some feathers and many folks took to the streets of social media to insult, shade, and criticize the Grammy Award-winning singer.
At the same time, many were very supportive, encouraging, and inspired by her natural beauty and her courage to let her soul glow.
On Monday, Alicia clarified her decision not to wear makeup doesn’t mean she’s “anti-makeup.” She encouraged others to “do you!”
Swizz on the other hand, had a few questions…
In an IG video, the super producer asked, “You mad because that person didn’t put on makeup to please you?! What kind of sh*t is this?!”

There are so many more important things to worry about than whether or not someone is wearing makeup.
