Suge Knight Sues Chris Brown & Pia Mia Over 2014 Nightclub Shooting

Suge Knight has slapped Chris Brown, Pia Mia, and a West Hollywood nightclub over the 2014 shooting that left with him with seven gunshot wounds.

The four-page civil lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (June 25), accuses the defendants of failing to provide adequate security at 1Oak LA for a party hosted by Chris and Mia.

Via NBC News:

The suit lists 30 other defendants whom it identifies as co-owners or landlords of the club.

Knight, 51, co-founder of the groundbreaking label Death Row Records, and two other people were wounded in the shooting during a party ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards. Although he was struck multiple times in the abdomen, chest and left forearm, he was able to walk out of the club under his own power before he was taken to a hospital.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, in which Brown and Perez were not implicated.

Suge filed a similar $1 million lawsuit against Kanye West and a Miami nightclub after he was shot in the leg in 2005.

The judge tossed the case.
