Kelly Rowland Shuts Down News Anchor Who Questions Her About Beyoncé
Kelly Rowland was on her MarShawn Lynch “you know what I’m here for” on Tuesday morning when she appeared on WGN 9 News to talk about her partnership with Claritin and the Boys and Girls Club of America.
Unfortunately, WGN reporter Dean Richards thought it would be a great opportunity to fish for scoop on Beyoncé and her newly released Lemonade visual album.
Richards kicked it off by saying, “All the talk this week has been about Beyonce’s new album. Have you heard it yet? Have you had an opportunity to get some thoughts on the whole thing?”
Kelly, becoming visibly annoyed, responded, “I sure have. It’s great. It’s absolutely great.”
Dean Richards wouldn’t leave well enough alone. So, he continued, “Really different though, right?”
Kelly paused before responding, “Yes, really different.”
When Dean tried for a third time, Kelly promptly shut him down saying, “But getting back to what I’m here to talk about, Claritin. I’m very excited to be teaming up with Claritin and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.”
Watch Kelly gather Mr. Richards below.
