The R&B diva fired music mogul Hiriam Hicks after a 3-year working relationship when her money came up funny.
Speaking with the Confidential, the “Home” singer said:
Often times when this happens to an artist, they’re embarrassed and don’t want anyone to know.
I decided to come forward to share this because I want to empower other artists to pay attention to their business affairs.
While she is disappointed because she trusted Hiriam, Stephanie Mills is glad she trusted her gut even more and credits her business acumen for noticing when something wasn’t right.
Meanwhile…back at the ranch, Hiriam Hicks denies being fired.
