Mamoudou Gassama, the man who is now known as the “Spider-Man of Paris,” had his first day on the job with the Paris Fire Brigade.

This past May, Mamoudou sprung into action and climbed up the side of a building to save a 4-year-old child, who was dangling from a balcony.

For his heroism, French President Emmanuel Macron, promised the 22-year-old French citizenship and a job with the Paris Fire Brigade.
