Al Jr. has since edited his post to replace “in a coma” with “hospitalized.”

See the post below.

Al B. Sure commented on his son’s post writing:

#HappyBornDay son. To my oldest King! ? Always consider it the ultimate blessing to experience another “Period of Revolution!” Another trip around the ☀️!

When I recently opened my eyes during my hospitalization you sent such positive shockwaves throughout my temple when I heard the new music you produced that you sent to my nurses to play for me called The One 4 Me.

You and your team are ? musically. I’m so very proud of you beyond comprehension.

Stay focused, faithful and fully accountable to Allah.

Remember, Mommy & I are always watching so keep it authentic and somewhat G rated with your vehicle of expression.
❤️ & ?
Popz?

Al B. Sure has been very public about his health challenges over the last few years with frequent trips to the doctors and hospitalizations.

He often refers to it as his “medical journey.”

The “Nite and Day” singer underwent bariatric surgery to lose weight after he said doctors gave him four to six months to live.

I previously reported Al B. had issues with his gallbladder and serious blockages that required medical attention.

You may recall at one point, Al B. Sure took to social media to share that he was “cleaning house” when it came to those who didn’t bother to check on him when he was previously hospitalized.

He wrote:

On the flip side, I’d like to revisit and sincerely send a very special thank you to anyone #thatiUsedtoknow who didn’t have time or couldn’t be bothered to reach out and see if I was still among the living or might have checked out (NY term for ghost). Including family members.

No worries, it’s always a good time to #SpringClean and shrink my already small circle of individuals to a significantly smaller dot.

In July, the singer shared he was recently discharged from the intensive care unit and had to undergo a full MRI.

Despite his health challenges, Al B. Sure participated in a Celebrity Boxing Match in March against ‘The Latin Lover’ Hazel Roche.

Please keep Al B. Sure in your thoughts and prayers as he continues his “medical journey.”
